Schöffel: CFO Felix Geiger leaves

CFO Felix Geiger is leaving Schöffel Sportbekleidung GmbH.

After eight years in the management of the sports goods company, Schöffel announced on Thursday that they would part ways “by mutual agreement” at the end of March. As CFO, he was responsible for the finance department of the specialist for outdoor, ski and bike clothing and also managed the ‘Schöffel Professional’ division for individual industrial and official textiles, which also includes the ‘Schöffel Pro’ brand for employee clothing , which was launched last year.

“Felix has shaped the company both strategically and operationally,” said managing partner Peter Schöffel. “With Schöffel Pro, we have established a second Schöffel brand for corporate customers, and our business area for clothing for authorities and motorcycles is also developing well.”

Schöffel downsizes management

With the departure of Geiger, the management of Schöffel will be reduced to two people. In the future, the company will only be managed by Peter Schöffel and Stefan Merkt, CEO at Schöffel Sport. The two will share Geiger’s duties. Schöffel assumes responsibility for ‘Schöffel Professional’.

“In order to focus even more on efficiency in the currently difficult market environment, we have decided to streamline the management and at the same time ensure personnel continuity,” says Peter Schöffel. “The Schöffel Sport brand will continue to be managed by Stefan Merkt as CEO.”
