Schippers cancels for Golden Spurs meeting, West Flemings show themselves

The Quantis-Golden Spurs meeting was completely dominated by the European Championships in August in Munich. A hundred European top players tried to seize one last chance in Kortrijk to force their selection for Munich.

The field of participants was led by Dafne Schippers. The Dutch 200m world champion disappointed in the heats and passed for the final.

West Flemings Rani Vincke, Timon Inghelbrecht, Giebe Algoet, Yorunn Ligneel and Aurèle Vandeputte showed themselves in Kortrijk with great performances.
