It is unclear whether the promoted Royal Blues can agree on the modalities of a transfer with the Berliners, who only managed to save themselves in the Bundesliga relegation. Schwolow was already an issue in Gelsenkirchen in 2020, but switched to Hertha despite an agreement that was allegedly reached because the “miners” could not afford to sign the courted Freiburg keeper.
