FC Schalke 04 has consolidated its place in the upper half of the table. The royal blue won 2-0 (1-0) at 1. FC Magdeburg and thus achieved the fourth victory in the sixth season game. In Magdeburg, captain Kenan Karaman took the lead in front of 27,427 spectators in the 10th minute. It was the 100th goal for the Magdeburgers in front of a home backdrop in the 2nd league. After the break, Karaman increased in the 56th minute. It was already the fifth defeat for the hosts this season and the fourth one after the other. The changeover to six positions compared to the defeat in Bielefeld by coach Markus Fiedler did not help.
Hertha BSC again in the crisis: Bilbija dampens upswing
Double packer Filip Bilbija from SC Paderborn quickly stopped the upswing from Hertha BSC.
