In Turkey, the goalkeeper of the Altay club from Izmir was attacked by a fan with a corner flag during the city derby against Göztepe.
The keeper Ozan Evrim Özenc (29) suffered a four-centimeter laceration on his head, the DHA news agency reported. Videos of the incident showed a man running across the pitch and attacking Özenc from behind and knocking him down.
The game at local rivals Göztepe Izmir had already been interrupted after fireworks were set off in the fan block.
One trailer suffered burns and injuries to his teeth and jaw. Fans of both teams were evacuated separately from the stadium.
