Scammed couple from Emmen gets a lot of support after broadcast Alberto Stegeman. ‘Three girls even came to bring flowers’

Ina and her sick husband Geuk Wijngaard from Emmen are moved by the many reactions they received after a broadcast of Undercover in the Netherlands. “Three girls even came to bring flowers,” says Ina Wijngaard.

The couple was scammed out of 140,000 euros by their neighbors who abused their ailing neighbor. “They were not allowed to start their own company, they said, because they have an administrator. I would get money every month to take care of my sick husband,” says Ina.

Crowdfunding

Kimberley Beijersbergen is a crowdfunding started, so that Geuk and Ina be able to pay off the remaining 40,000 euros debt as much as possible.

Kimberley Beijersbergen from Emmen discovered that the scammers were at it again. She had previously dealt with the duo when the two pushed back money for a life-saving surgery for her.

Strangely enough, the money that she received back from the scammers after revelations about this by Alberto Stegeman does not come from the couple themselves, but from the account of the Wijngaard family, which sets off all alarm bells.
