Slowed down by injuries
As expected, SC Paderborn has prematurely and mutually terminated the contract with former DFB player Max Kruse, which originally ran until the end of the season. The second division team officially announced this on Friday. “I wish the team and the club that they achieve their goals and wish everyone all the best for the future,” said the 35-year-old.
Kruse moved to Paderborn in the 2nd Bundesliga last summer after being dropped from VfL Wolfsburg a year ago. The 14-time national player repeatedly had injury problems with the East Westphalians and only played five games for the SCP.
