Exclusively on free TV, RTL will present the fourth matchday of the UEFA Europa League on November 9th with the game SC Freiburg vs. TSC Backa Topola (kick-off 9:00 p.m.). Successful coach Christian Streich’s team won the first leg comfortably 3-1.
Moderator Laura Papendick and expert Lothar Matthäus will report live from the Europa-Park Stadium in Freiburg at 8:45 p.m. The top game will be commented on by Marco Hagemann and Steffen Freund. The game between SC Freiburg and TSC Backa Topola will also be produced in UHD and broadcast on RTL UHD.

Only on RTL+ will football fans see eight selected top games this season from 6:15 p.m., compiled from both competitions, in individual games or as conferences at kick-off times at 6:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
The new part of “Matchday”, the game day show on RTL+, are the community hosts around sports presenter Alessa-Luisa Naujoks, sports reporter Jessica Matyschok and social sports reporter Julius Fellermann. Which scenes is the online community discussing? From now on, the crew will alternately bring the community’s topics into the show.
Also new on the fourth matchday: Matchday guest expert Johannes Strate. Alongside presenter Anna Kraft, the “Revolverheld” frontman and Werder ambassador analyzes the performances of Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer 04 Leverkusen, among others.
Both teams are heading into their respective second legs with confidence. Frankfurt won 6-0 at home against Helsinki, Bayer 04 beat Qarabag 5-1 in Leverkusen. Are the Bundesliga teams also picking up wins away from home?
