SC Freiburg is strengthening its offensive for the new season and has signed forward Junior Adamu from Red Bull Salzburg. Adamu himself said: “SC Freiburg has a very good reputation in Austria, which was confirmed in my discussions with those responsible and people who know the club well. I want to get even better and assert myself in the German Bundesliga. Freiburg is the right place for that.”
Adamu leaves his training club Salzburg after 84 professional appearances, in which he scored 23 goals and eleven assists. In the past season he increased his market value to 8 million euros. After Benjamin Sesko and Nicolas Seiwald (both future for Leipzig), the attacker is now the third player to move from Salzburg to the Bundesliga this summer.
