SBS 6 will immediately stop the poorly viewed game shows by Sander Lantinga and Richard Groenendijk. The station fills the gaps in the weekend schedule with cheap reruns.
The Friday evening show Think Inside The Box by Richard Groenendijk and the Sunday evening show Vier Is Te Veel by Sander Lantinga were actually still in the broadcasting schedule of SBS 6 for the entire month of June. !) episodes. The reason? Bad ratings.
“To howl!”
SBS 6 confirms the news via the television guide. “Have a good time there! Those programs are of course also to cry, so bad ?”, says Yvonne Coldeweijer, who was the first to see the schedule changes.
Think Inside The Box would only be followed on July 1 by the new TV show I Want Your Song, in which rapper Snelle makes his debut as a presenter. Whether that program will be brought forward is unclear. Tomorrow the station will broadcast a repeat of the Gillis family at Richard Groenendijk’s place.
Criticism of Richard
Richard has already received a lot of criticism for his show, including from Fidan Ekiz. She thought Think Inside The Box was very old-fashioned. “I believe Fidan Ekiz has also dragged me through the mud. Because of my great TV show. And she is actually a bit right,” responded the presenter in Paul de Leeuw’s podcast.
Paul: “No, you shouldn’t do that. No, you shouldn’t spit in your own cup.”
Richard: “I don’t spit in my own cup.”
Not a good program?
Paul: “She’s a bit right that it’s not a good program, Think Inside The Box?”
Richard: “No, she’s right to say what she wants. People will then ask me: ‘Are you angry when people say angry things?’ I say, ‘Listen, I’m all about good reviews, so if there’s bad stuff, I’ll just have to take it, right?’”
Downer for Sander
Sander’s show, Vier Is Te Veel, would not be followed until July 10, namely by another quiz: The Best Answer with Winston Gerschtanowitz. Nothing is known about an early premiere date either. This Sunday, at the site of Vier Is Te Veel, a repeat of Het Roer Om can be seen.
It’s quite painful for Sander, who made his comeback on television with this show. Angela de Jong really thought it was disaster television. She said last week: “My goodness, what a level. With four of those students and that on Sunday evening at SBS. Oh, oh, oh, oh.”
The new Saturday evening of SBS 6 with The Hunting Season and the Samantha Steenwijk show De Hollandse Nieuwe will remain unchanged for the time being.
