In addition to the Jan Versteegh game Lingo, SBS 6 also moves the Winston Gerschtanowitz quiz 50/50 to sister channel Net5. “Then you think: why are they doing that?”, says Albert Verlinde.
Lingo and 50/50 have become regulars of SBS 6 in recent seasons, but that is now over. “We already knew that Lingo will return, but then on Net5, but what I recently heard in the corridors and what I have received today is that 50/50, a fixed value in the eve of SBS, will also move to Net5. ”
More reality on SBS 6
Albert Verlinde is speaking, expert in Shownieuws and spokesperson for Talpa. What does he think of that move? “That is remarkable, because then you get a kind of quiz hour there every day on Net5. Then you think: why do they do that?”
Well, tell me? “That’s because that new program is coming up: A Year Of Your Life. That will have to fill that eve of SBS 6 with Lang Leve De Liefde. That means that there will be a quiz hour on Net5 and that there will be more reality on SBS 6 in the evening until 7:30 am.”
Million euros
A Year Of Your Life is a kind of Big Brother, but with forty candidates who have to play games. They have to try to stay in the house for a year and the winner has a chance to win a maximum of one million euros. Doesn’t sound very groundbreaking, but at Shownieuws they were almost next to their crutch of admiration in May.
We have known the one million euros promised by John de Mol since the Million Dollar Island debacle. That actually turns out to be three tens and a book token.
