Sarah van Soelen has given an interview about him for the first time since the controversial love holiday of her ex André Hazes Jr. with Monique Westenberg. “I don’t hate him.”
A month and a half ago she was completely upset: Sarah van Soelen was shocked by the Privé cover with an intimately entwined André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg. She immediately announced that she has blocked André on Instagram: “I don’t need André for anything. You get a lot of lies. That’s what I’m going for!”

What does it show? Sarah still believed in a love reunion with André. She and her family were so offended – André lived with them for a long time and never spoke again – that they immediately started taking steps to be removed from his upcoming documentary.
Sarah’s celebrity friend Patty Brard at the time: “The reunion between André and Monique has stirred them up a lot. Now they say: ‘Yes, boys, we never heard from André again.’ He never thanked that father ever again or called or anything. I think he has a little bit of confrontation anxiety.”

We are a month and a half later and Sarah seems to have calmed down. Yesterday she was at a party of Patty Brard, together with other Shownieuws stars such as Anouk Smulders, Bart Ettekoven, Dyantha Brooks and Natacha Harlequin. Apparently she felt safe enough to speak to their program’s reporter, Thom Goderie.
How it’s going? “Yes, really very well actually. I’m in my house, so I’m completely content. I’ll tell you honestly, I don’t have any closet space left, so I’m very happy to live alone.”

Sarah is still walking around with the love tattoo which she placed before André. “Of course I set it up with Dré at the time. Or in any case: Dré didn’t put it on, because he first went to remove his ex’s tattoo.”
That tattoo never happened again with André. “It’s something with me and Dre, but I don’t hate him, I don’t hate him. It’s okay with me, it’s okay and I just hope he becomes very, very happy. In any way and with anyone. But especially with himself. I would really like that.”
No contact
Does she ever speak to André? “No Unfortunately not.” It’s time for a new chapter. “Yes finally. Is it allowed? Yes, right?”
And has she been removed from André’s documentary yet? “I’ve decided not to go there.”
Anouk Smulders after the item: “Agreements have been made that when the documentary is ready, they can view it. (…) So it is not definitive yet that everything is gone, all those images.”
