Since the beginning of this week, Kathleen Van De Vijver (50) has been appointed as top woman of all 37 prisons in our country. Her first day at work coincided with the start of a week of strikes. Sarah Blancke (52) has been heading the FPS Justice since the beginning of this year. “We have to be honest with our 9,500 prison employees: we can’t solve everything.”
