Second place in the new music competition on Saturday Sara Siipola commented on his performance on Instagram. Siipola, who entered the UMK competition as the pre-favorite, describes the evening as the most memorable of his life.
– I couldn’t have imagined that I wouldn’t be the top 2. Or the #1 of the board?! I am so taken, grateful, moved. I’m so full of your love you don’t crack.
Siipola thanks the New Music competition for a wonderful trip. The UMK day was full of excitement.
– You can’t do anything like this anywhere here with such a high level of professionalism. I am so proud that I could be a part of this great ensemble. It will certainly take a while to get used to this bursting of the UMK bubble, stop and go through what has really happened here.
Siipola gives his warm thanks to all the voters. He also remembers his supporters in the writing; family and friends. Siipola is grateful that he got to know other UMK artists better.
Special mention goes to the winner of the evening, Windows95man and Henri Piispanen.
– And the winner windows95man, bishop, you so deserve this. You can’t be covered without getting in a good mood. We got a wonderful representative of wisdom that we can be proud of and encourage them to the fullest.
