Sara Kuivisto ran again in the new Finnish record hall at 1,500 meters.

The new SE came in Torun, Poland. The time now is 4.06.14. It is below the limit for the March World Championships in Belgrade.

– The goal was to run 4.08, so the time was a bit of a surprise and especially the feeling of the time. There was a feeling that I could run even harder, Kuivisto said in a SUL press release.

The earlier SE period was in the name of Kuivisto himself. He ran in Jyväskylä 4.11.42 years ago.

During the race, there may not have been a feeling in Poland at first that records would be broken now, but eventually that feeling came.

– I’m hanging out in Australia Linden Hallin after. After 400 meters I was wondering how this girl would go when it was going pretty hard, but when we got to 1,100 meters, I got the feeling that this one didn’t feel anywhere and then I went past the hall in the last lap, Kuivisto rejoiced.
