Amadeus beats everyone and gets a record audience for the final of its latest edition
The ratings of the final of Sanremo 2024 they break all records: 14.3 million average and 74.1% share. A true triumph for the latest Amadeus Festival which managed to bring all generations together in front of the television with a cast that winked at the younger ones who listen to and discover music through social media.

The long evening that led to Angelina Mango’s victory in front of Geolier, the televoting favorite thanks to its audience on social media (it is no coincidence that it is among the most listened to in streaming and the video of its performance is the most viewed on social media) was a great success for Rai and for the many advertising investors. But the last evening of Sanremo Festival it was so long that the last 40 minutes are not counted in the Auditel data from yesterday Saturday 10 February, given that the survey stops at 2.00. The average of the final evening of Sanremo 2024 between 9.27pm and 1.59am was 14,301 million with a 74.1% share. Specifically the first part between 9.27pm and 11.31pm it gained 17.2 million spectators with a 70.77% share and the second between 11.34pm and 1.59am gained 11.7 million and the 78.77% of shares. The Sanremo Start between 8.47pm and 9.22pm it achieved 14,615 million and a 61.19% share. The PrimaFestival it obtained 10,340 million and a 47.7% share.

Last year’s final Sanremo it had obtained 12,256 million and a 66% media share. The Sanremo Start had reached 13,389 million and 57.73%, then the first part of the Festival 14,423 million and 62.7% and the second 9,490 million and 73.56% share. To understand how the Auditel data collection, the audience and the use of television have changed, it is enough to underline how the Sanremo 2000 hosted by Fabio Fazio had obtained 15,223 million spectators on the final evening with a 65.47% share. Only Sanremo 1995 hosted by Pippo Baudo obtained a higher share with 75.22% but it was another era not only on television but also in the Auditel data collection.

On TV8 4 restaurants reached 259 thousand spectators and 1.1% share, Poirot on TopCrime 296 thousand and 1.2% share.
