Dfter the boos for Geolier, winner of the evening Sanremo 2024 cover-duets, the numbers: again very high ratings. In fact, there were 11 million 839 thousand average viewers, with a 67.8% share. The first part (from 9.25pm to 11.35pm) had an audience of 15 and a half million; while the second (from 11.38pm to 10.59pm) it settled at 8 million 398 thousand spectators (share of 73.2%). Fourth best night ever festival since Auditel was introduced (in 1987).
The peak in audience was recorded at 10.08pm 16 million 740 thousand (at the end of the performance of Riccardo Cocciante and Irama); when reading the chart, the Top 5 covers, the share reached a share of 77.1%. In general, it is worth highlighting that this edition of the festival records one 85% share in the 15-24 age group: youngest edition since 2015.
«I wanted to bring young people back to Sanremo and I succeeded”, underlines Amadeus regarding his latest Sanremo (but really the last?). «It was supposed to be just one and instead I made five. Better this way, it was the right time to achieve this goal.”
The fifth evening of Sanremo 2024, the final: who sings tonight
They sing all 30 big names in the race, as in the first evening. Start of broadcast scheduled for 8.40pm, ending around 1.40am.
The prizes of the final are the Golden Lion to the winner, the Mia Martini critics’ prize awarded in the Press Room, the Lucio Dalla press room award, the Sergio Bardotti award for the best text and the Giancarlo Bigazzi award for the best musical composition (given by the orchestral musicians).

Who votes tonight
Before kicking off the final, Amadeus will reveal the general provisional ranking based on the average of the votes of the four evenings. And it will start the voting, reserved exclusively for televoting.
Once the performances are over, a new ranking will be revealed, this time total, and the top 5 artists will perform again. Subsequently, having reset everything, the three “juries” vote on a new Top 5 which will decide the winner. The voting percentages are divided as follows: televoting 34%, press room, TV and web (33%) and radio (33%).
To vote from home: from your landline you need to dial 894.001 and follow the operator’s instructionsor send a text message to 475.475.1 with the artist code. Available a maximum of 5 votes per person and the maximum cost for each vote it is 51 cents. The service is reserved for adults.

Saturday night’s guests: Bolle and Cinquetti
From London, where last night he danced at the Royal Opera House (he danced at Covent Garden to celebrate 25 years since the first time as a guest artist, in 1999, ed.), there will be Roberto Bolle.
«It’s a great emotion to be here – says the dancer –, I’ve already been there twice and I wanted to be there this time too, even though I’m very tired. For me it’s important to take dance to unusual, pop places. Tonight I will do a 1900s dance number, very famous and never done on Italian TV.”
Fiorello arrives as co-host, for 5 years alongside Amadeus (it will also present the singers). Then there they are Gigliola Cinquetti for the 60th anniversary of I’m not old enough and Luca Argentero just to remind you that it starts again next week Doc – In your hands. Tananai will perform from Piazza Colombo, while Tedua returns to the Costa Smeralda.
