According to the punishment order recently confirmed by the Prosecutor’s Office, the actor Sanna Saarijärvi53, got stuck in traffic at the end of January in Helsinki’s Koskela.
According to the crime description of the punishment order, Saarijärvi was driving his Jeep Renegade SUV at the intersection of Mäkelänkatu and Koskelantie facing red lights.
The act took place on Tuesday at 10:57. According to the police, there was a lot of traffic at the intersection at the time, and Saarijärvi’s act was likely to cause danger to those at the intersection.
The intersection of Mäkelänkatu and Koskelantie is one of the busiest intersections in Helsinki. Käpylä elementary school and natural science high school are located near the intersection.
Saarijärvi, who was guilty of endangering traffic safety, was fined 12 days. The price of one daily fine was 97 euros, so the amount to be paid totaled 1,164 euros. In addition, Saarijärvi had to pay a crime victim fee of 40 euros.
