The Ruisrock festival currently underway in Turku published on Saturday on its official Instagram account a photo of the Prime Minister of Finland, Sanna Marin, which even became a viral phenomenon.

In the black and white photo taken by Janita Autio, Marin walks smiling in the leather jacket, denim shorts and boots that have become her trademark.

Tens of thousands of Likers and hundreds of commenters admire Marini’s essence.

– Wow. The number one prime minister in the whole world, one commentator writes.

However, the delighted sighs are not limited only to the inside of Finland’s borders or to the lips of Finns, because the international media have also taken note of Marin’s image.

For example, the Visegrád 24 news site published a post praising Marin on its Twitter account.

– It is hard work to join NATO. Sometimes you need a free Saturday, the lyrics say.

Also the German Der Spiegel, which is one of Europe’s largest and most influential German-language magazines, published an article on the subject.

– When you look at the picture, you wouldn’t necessarily believe that one of Europe’s top politicians is standing there, writes Spiegel.

The writer adds with a smile that he doesn’t know what Marin is doing in Ruisrock, how many cans of beer he consumed, but genuinely wonders if he might have had security personnel with him.

– And how many moshpits did he survive unscathed?

In addition, a Scottish journalist known for his news about Finns David McDougall tweeted about it.

If you don’t see the embed, you can watch it too from here.

– Don’t even try to claim that the prime minister of your country is nearly as cool as Sanna Marin, he writes.
