Former Prime Minister Sanna Marin organized a private Independence Day party at Hotel Kämp in Helsinki.
Marin published a series of photos from the evening on her Instagram account on Thursday.
Marin says that he organized the party with his former special assistant and current colleague and business partner Tuulia Pitkänen with.
– It was an honor to celebrate Finland’s independence in the traditional way at the Presidential Palace. The evening continued to Hotel Kämpi, where our two-woman company MA/PI, founded in the summer, organized the Independence Day party. It is a pleasure to work with an incredibly talented friend and superwoman Tuulia Pitkänen, Marin writes in her caption.

The party was attended by, among others, a member of parliament Ilmari Nurminen his spouse Aapo Hettulan with, actor Minka Kuustonenimpressive on TV Carita von Rutenhjelm and an actor Stella Kylä-Liuhala.
Sparkling drinks and a variety of snacks were available at the party.
Finland’s most expensive hotel room
Iltalehti reported earlier on Thursday about the private Independence Day party organized in Hotel Kämpi’s famous Mannerheim suite.
A lot of photo and video material from large private parties has been published on social media during Wednesday and Thursday.

A 258-square-meter room costs around 5,000 euros per night. The room is known to be the most expensive and perhaps the most famous hotel room in Finland.
The suite consists of two large bedrooms, two living rooms, a separate dining room, study, sauna and bath rooms and two balconies.
From the pictures published by Marin, it appears that the party was organized in the Mannerheim suite.

On Independence Day, Sanna Marin represented Linna in a spectacular bright yellow evening dress designed by Katri Niskanen.
According to information from Iltalehti, Marin left Linna quickly after shaking hands.

Both Marin and Pitkänen work at the Tony Blair Institute as strategic advisors.
Pitkänen served as Marin’s special assistant when he was prime minister.
