Sanna Marini’s change of heart caused extra arrangements at Stubb’s inauguration

At Stubb’s inauguration, Sanna Marin sat in a different place than other ex-prime ministers.

Former Prime Minister Sanna Marin arrived on friday by Alexander Stubb to the inauguration. He sat in parliament separately from other ex-prime ministers, which caught the attention of those present.

Iltalehti found out why Marin sat far away from other ex-prime ministers.

– Sanna Marin had first announced the obstacle. A couple of days earlier, he had stated that he would be able to participate. At that time, however, the seating arrangement was largely locked, says the parliament’s director of information and communications Rainer Hindsberg For Iltalehti.

– This was the best place we could arrange for him. Of course, we wanted to get him in the front row, but we couldn’t get him in the exact same place with the other former prime ministers.

According to Iltalehti’s journalists who were there, the staff guided Marin in the meeting room. When Marin sat apart from the other ex-prime ministers, the one who arrived after him Eero Heinäluoma sat again in the ex-prime minister’s enclosure Matti Vanhanen and Anneli Jäätteenmäki between. Heinäluoma is not a former prime minister.

Stylishly dressed in a black outfit, merit badge and Kalevala’s Vetovoima earrings, Marin also asked a person to take a picture of herself on the spot.
