Previous difficulties are not visible on the outside and are not heard in the artist’s speech. Sanil’s Aikakone and solo career gigs went down when the pandemic started. At the same time, his company went bankrupt. Now life is smiling again with new winds.
San’s summer work calendar is full. On weekdays, he films the fifth season of Rantabari and on weekends he gigs with Aikakone at festivals. There are days off when there are no shootings for the summer series.

– This has been a secret dream in the back of my mind, and now it happened that it has come true. I have a nice role, where I have been able to do a lot according to my own character.
The role of the beach bar made Sani more enthusiastic about acting already in the fourth season of the series, where Sani appeared for a couple of episodes. Based on the role, he hopes to be able to act in a long film and tougher roles in the future. A fire has started in the field.

Music for support
Music has traveled alongside Sani for years. Aikakone, founded in 1994, is San’s favorite child, with whom we still play gigs.
New music may soon be coming from Aikakone, because it has been worked on. However, according to the artist, the band’s fans love nostalgia so much that the concert set is filled with old hits, such as Wait and Below the maple tree.
– There’s nothing you can do about it, that people are so nostalgic that they want to stay there. However, this is why I perform and make music so that people dance and have a good time.
Sani describes himself as entertaining people no matter what. During the last couple of years, he made music for his own pleasure with his smaller band and also made solo material.
– Maybe there will be an album version. It would be the fourth solo record besides Aikakonen. It’s been a lifesaver and I’ve done it with my own band.
