Gnabry himself took the lead for Bayern. Freiburg goalkeeper Mark Flekken had previously parried a shot from Leroy Sané – only he deflected it forward. Gnabry seemed to have guessed that, he appeared twelve meters in front of the goal and headed heavily into the top right corner.

Marcel Sabitzer was less than five minutes on the field when Lienhart from Freiburg tried to stop a pass to Mané.
