Sandrine Tas is already skating a thousand meters tomorrow

The Belgian record is in the name of Sandrine Tas: in Calgary she skated 1:16:46 last year. Her opponent Scott’s record is 1:15:29.

For Tas, the 1,000 meters is her third Olympic start. She finished 28th in the 500m and 29th in the 1500m. After the 1,000 meters, Tas skates the mass start on Saturday, the part that most resembles inline skating. In it she has won European and world titles.
