Sandrine Lilienfeld takes on the role of Managing Director at French fashion chain Pimkie.
Lilienfeld announced her appointment as Managing Director on Tuesday on the LinkedIn careers network. “I am very much looking forward to accompanying this traditional French brand in a new chapter in its history, alongside President and shareholder Salih Halassi,” said Lilienfeld.
Halassi is part of the trio of companies around the denim brand Lee Cooper France, the sock brand Kindy and the Turkish supplier Ibisler Tekstil, which are to be taken over by the Mulliez family who own the fashion chain. In early February, a source familiar with the matter told AFP that the sale would be confirmed soon.
The manager most recently worked for the French clothing chain Camaïeu, which ceased operations in October last year after insolvency proceedings. According to her Linkedin profile, the French native started her career at Galeries Lafayette in 1990 before spending ten years as Purchasing Manager for lingerie brand Etam. Since then, the manager has worked, among other things, as Supply Chain Director at the fashion label Kookai and as Managing Director of the French retail chain Naf Naf. In 2013 she took over the management of the Gerard Darel brand and later Caroll International.
Most recently, Philippe Favre held the role of Managing Director at Pimkie. He was in the position for just over a year, according to his Linkedin profile. At the same time, he founded his own consulting firm, Cassiopée Transformation, in January 2022.
