The Catalan beat the Italian-Albanian Kaba by technical KO

Sandor aspires to the super lightweight world title, held by Regis Prograis

Having already recovered from the broken nasal septum suffered at Madison Square Garden in the fight with Teófimo López, the Catalan Sandor Martín returned to the ring in style and defeated the Italian-Albanian Arblin Kaba with total ease. The fight took place on Italian soil, specifically at the Teatro Maggiore in Verbania, in the Piedmont region.

Sandor was far superior to the opponent boxer and in the sixth round he sent him to kiss the canvas twice. Kaba’s corner asked the referees to stop the fight and they gave Martín the winner.

Now the Barcelona boxer he will continue his preparation with a single goal in mind, which is none other than to tie up the super lightweight world champion belt. For this he must defeat the American Regis Prograis, current holder of the title.
