‘Sander Lantinga is offended very quickly, it is so childish’

Sander Lantinga reacts very lightly to Ruud de Wild’s criticism, says Jan Paparazzi. The AvroTros DJ believes that the Radio 538 DJ should work on its resilience.

Ruud de Wild was fired in 2015 as the afternoon jock of Radio 538 to make way for the duo Coen Swijnenberg and Sander Lantinga. Since then, he has lashed out at the radio duo almost incessantly. And when it was recently announced that the duo had to stop, Ruud was at the forefront to shout that the stretch is indeed out.

radio quarrel

It caused a lot of irritation at Coen and Sander. “He is so terribly busy with it and for seven years we don’t respond. Well, now I think it’s time to respond. I think: don’t be so sour man, that’s just the way things go, isn’t it?”, Sander snorted on the radio.

Sander is really done with it now. “In every interview, so again at Boulevard, he mentions things like this. While, yes, about ‘getting it out’… He might as well watch his own show, you know.”

Childish

Jan Paparazzi, DJ at AvroTros, thinks Sander has long toes. “I don’t know whether it’s sympathetic, but Ruud de Wild can just say what he thinks. It seems like you can’t say anything anymore or someone has been offended again. It’s not about anything, is it?”, he responds in the Nieuwe Revu.

He continues: “If Ruud thinks that the stretch is over at Coen & Sander, he can say so. (…) He is a radio operator who has more than earned his spurs and he says something critical… That Lantinga has to get over that again, it’s all so childish dude.”

Back straight

Sander should not let himself be known that way, Jan thinks. “Shrug, back straight and keep going. Just make sure you have a nice radio program, that’s it.”

He sighs: “The toes are nowhere as long as on the radio in Hilversum.”
