Sander Lantinga is absolutely not open to the presentation of HLF8. He does not understand why Johan Derksen has called out that he is going to work as a talk show presenter.
Johan Derksen has stated with great certainty in his program Today Inside that Sander Lantinga and Manuel Venderbos will be the new presenters of HLF8, but the gentlemen themselves know nothing. In fact, one of the two, Sander, doesn’t feel like presenting that.
‘Is it right?’
The current HLF8 presenter Hélène Hendriks had Sander sitting at her talk show table yesterday. “Is it right now? Will you be the new presenter?”
Sander then laughs: “Yes, from a quarter to eight today. No no. Where that really comes from… I have no idea really. I was eating in a restaurant and the first text was: ‘Half past seven’, but it was a quarter to nine. I thought, what is this crazy thing? Then more came about that Johan Derksen called that.”
‘I do not want!’
It is completely unclear to Sander what Johan bases this information on. “I really don’t know where it came from.”
Hélène: “But would you like it?”
Sander: “I am very happy now with the radio, so combining that is not possible. I just started with Veronica, great music, so that is really far away from my preference.”
Manuel will
Manuel Venderbos does want to, but that is not surprising. His TV career has been gasping for breath for years and at the moment he is parked again at Shownieuws. He belongs to the category of presenters who say yes to everything.
Manuel secretly hopes that his name will be on a bulletin board somewhere. “Maybe Johan has more information than I do. Maybe I missed an internal Talpa memo,” he says.
John de Beaver
That program suits him, Manuel thinks. “It is actually a kind of Show News, but a little less John de Bever and a little more topical and political.”
Manuel is also the host of the AD Media podcast. His colleagues there accused him in the last episode of talking very positively about Talpa since he started working for Shownieuws.
