Silvia Bronchalo, the mother of Daniel Sancho, in pretrial detention for the murder and dismemberment of the Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta, went for the second day to visit her son in the Koh Samui prison, in southern Thailand, accompanied by Embassy staff Spanish.
Bronchalo arrived at the jail, where his son has been in provisional prison since August 7, awaiting trial, in a similar way to the day before, by taxi and accompanied by staff from the Embassy of Spain in Thailand.
Sancho finished the stipulated ten-day isolation period on Thursday by the protocol for covid-19, and since then it can receive a daily visit of about fifteen minutes.
The mother of Sancho, son of Spanish actor Rodolfo Sancho, He entered the jail with a serious and silent countenance, like he did the day before.
Asked by a group of Spanish journalists gathered at the entrance to the prison, Vicente Cacho, business manager of the Spanish Embassy in Thailand, made some statements about the visit, stating that the meeting takes place “with a glass in between and they have not been able to touch each other”.

The family of the young man, 29 years old and grandson of the late Spanish actor Sancho Gracia, said in a statement last week that they are “very sorry for Edwin’s death”, and reiterated their intention to not make any more statements “to respect the very painful moment that both families are experiencing”.
