The president of the GovernmentPedro Sanchezhas stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin has made “two mistakes”: thinking that Ukraine was going to surrender and that Europe would be divided.
In an institutional appearance at the Palacio de La Moncloa after meeting with the president of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen, Sánchez explained that he had reiterated Spain’s commitment to Europe and to the sanctions against Russia.
