The President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, guaranteed this Friday in Honduras that this country will continue to rely on the work that Spanish cooperation has been developing for more than forty years.
Sánchez, who closes in Tegucigalpa his Latin American tour that has also taken him to Bogotá and Quito, He began his agenda in the Honduran capital with two meetings with Spanish aid workers and with representatives of Spanish companies that work in the country.
In his meeting with the Spanish aid workers, as explained by the head of the Government himself, he transferred a message of recognition and gratitude for his “immense” work.

Spanish cooperation is currently governed by the so-called Country Association Framework (MAP) 2020-2023, which foresees the mobilization of 215 million euros.
Honduras has requested that the new MAP be able to rely on those sectors considered priority by your Government, such as the fight against corruption, health, education or economic reactivation and the fight against poverty.
