San Martín de los Andes prepares for a new edition of Patagonia Run

The Patagonian city of San martin de los andes prepares to enjoy a new edition of the most important ultra trail race in Latin America: Patagonia Run Mountain Hardwear 2023. More of 6,000 runners from all over the world will be part of a competition that is now in its thirteenth year, which grows by leaps and bounds every year and presents important innovations in its circuits.

Between on April 12 and 15, Patagonia Runa race that is part of the world circuit of Spartan Trail World Championship, will be the ideal excuse to bring together elite trail runners and amateurs who will come from different parts of the country and abroad. Also, this year Launches a new 42K circuit on Cerro Chapelcoharder than those of previous years.

This mythical mountain race offers unique challenges, incomparable natural beauty and, in addition, a prize pool of US$30,000. And it will have the participation of international athletes such as Pau Capell, Dimitri Mityaev, Antonio Martinez, Nuria Gil, Ekaterina Mityaeva and Mårten Boström; who, along with local values, will be part of one of the distances that the competition has: Vertical Kilometer, 10k, 21k, 42k, 70k, 110k and 100Mi (160k); those that take place between Mount Chapelco and the Lanín National Park.

Patagonia Run MHW is not just a race, but an event that brings together more than 20,000 visitors each year, turning San martin de los andes in the trail running capital of Argentina and South America.
