Eroğlu said that he came to a football city at the signing ceremony held at Nuri Asan Facilities.
Expressing that Samsun and Samsunspor excited him, Eroğlu said:
“Because when I always come here to play matches, I was very impressed by the fact that this is a football city and its people are very valuable under the name of Samsun. When you look at Samsunspor’s past, I am very happy to work in a team with a Turkish school, which trains very valuable players for the National Team. It is a new process from today. “The end of this process will be the championship. Together with my team and my players, we will do our best.”
Pointing out that the whole city should support the team, Eroğlu said, “I promise you, there is an 11-year longing for the Super League. I promise that we will achieve this together 11 years later this year. In this process, we will lift the trophy together and give it to the people of Samsun, who will be the real owners of the trophy. The real championship is their right. We are only employees who do what they want. I hope we will experience this together at the end of the season. The team that has been formed is a good team. The players are one of the most important squads in the league when looked at individually. The important thing is to ensure that these players play together. Mental, physical And tactically, we are convicted of preparing our players well.” he said.
Stating that he trusts Samsunspor’s current staff, Eroğlu said:
“There are very good local and foreign players. It looks like a team that will reach the goal. One year before I started working in Altınordu, I was working as an assistant coach at Bucaspor. There were foreign players there too. I leave that aside. I was born in Germany and until I was 15 years old. I grew up there. I was brought up like a part of the system. I speak German and have a good level of English. There are no foreign or local players for me. As long as the player puts his heart on the field and does what we say. I get along well with all the players who put everything in and I can improve them well. “
Samsunspor Club Deputy Chairman Veysel Bilen stated that they appointed Hüseyin Eroğlu because they believed he would lead Samsunspor to the championship and they trusted him.
