Yılport Samsunspor lost 2-1 to Beşiktaş at home in the 13th week of the Trendyol Super League.
Samsunspor’s football director Fuat Çapa made statements to journalists after the Beşiktaş defeat.
Arguing that Samsunspor Coach Markus Gisdol’s watching the match from the stands had a negative impact on the team and lowered the self-confidence of the players, Çapa said:
” As a result, it is really sad in every sense. If we evaluate the game as the position we have entered, we will see that this team can enter these positions. But we need to forget that football is also a game of results. We should not waste the positions we have entered generously anymore. Because we are coming to the end of the half. “We have 6 matches left. We have points to get in these 6 matches so that we can start the second half with hope.”
Çapa stated that the referee mistakes also upset them.
