The chance that we will ever see Samantha Steenwijk again behind the desk of RTL Boulevard is getting smaller by the week. The troubled singer is being harassed again by the show section.
Until last spring, Samantha Steenwijk was always at the desk of RTL Boulevard. She also made several items for the program. In her last report, in mid-March, she did a tire changing crash course. However, one thing has changed everything: the lawsuit she filed against juice queen Yvonne Coldeweijer in April.
Fierce Samantha
Yvonne had circulated a fairly harmless gossip about Samantha’s alleged use of diet pills. That gossip only became big news when Samantha decided to turn it into a whole legal circus. It seemed like a cry for attention, since Yvonne had long since corrected the gossip at Samantha’s request.
It aroused incomprehension among Samantha’s Boulevard colleagues. “I don’t know, Rob… What had you done? Did you sue the whole thing?” Luuk Ikink wondered live on television. Colleague Rob Goossens: “I would have let it go.” Luke: “Yeah, right? I had actually forgotten about it.”

After her preliminary injunction, Samantha got another kick from RTL Boulevard, because the show section wrote a pretty spicy column about the sore rider. Samantha’s claim that she lost weight because of horseback riding, not diet pills, has been questioned quite a bit in this piece.
Samantha was portrayed in the Boulevard column as a kind of jock: “Well, I would like to be there, if the kilos do indeed fly off so quickly when you sit on a horse.”
Another bully
As a celebrity with one of the longest toes in Hilversum, Samantha does not let this pass her side. We haven’t seen her at the Boulevard desk since the diet pill riot. In fact: on all of RTL 4 we only see her in the repeat, notice Television journalist Jef Willemsen.
The chance that Samantha will soon join Boulevard again seems to have been lost. The program is now handing out another teasing punch to Samantha. In a article about the news that she rode a horse with Princess Margarita, the show column writes: “Whether the princess ended up with Samantha for waste tips is unclear.”
Yvonne screams
Samantha will undoubtedly be annoyed that she is so criticized by her former colleagues from RTL Boulevard. Meanwhile, rival Yvonne Coldeweijer has great fun with it. “Whahahah Boul ?”, she writes.
