Salzburg coach Matthias Jaissle expects striker Karim Adeyemi, who is being courted by BVB, to say goodbye in the summer. The 33-year-old revealed this before the kick-off of the round of 16 second leg in the Champions League against FC Bayern.
“I suspect that he will take the next step in a timely manner next summer,” said Jaissle on “Amazon Prime Video”. But he does not know how Adeyemi decides.
The 20-year-old attacker still has a contract with the Austrians until the summer of 2024. Borussia Dortmund is repeatedly traded as a possible new employer.
“Nothing is certain, there is an extraordinary amount of speculation,” said Matthias Sammer as a TV expert. The former European champion has been an external consultant at Borussia Dortmund since 2018. “I’m just a little whisperer,” Sammer remarked, smiling.
Adeyemi is said to cost over 30 million euros in transfer fee.
