This is the criticism that the leader of the PSC has launched, Salvador Illaafter the series of meetings held in Brussels with leaders such as the internal market commissioner, Thierry Bretonwith the president of the Committee of the Regions, Vasco Cordeirothe vice president of the European Parliament Marc Angel or the same delegate of the Generalitat in the European capital, Ignasi Centelles. One of the objectives that Illa has pursued since assuming the leadership of the PSC and the role of head of the opposition is that “influence” is “recovered” that Catalonia once had in the European institutions and that it considers that the Generalitat has lost, despite recognizing the efforts of Aragonès to recover them.
