More than fifty asylum seekers staying on the Liberty Ann reception boat are infected with the salmonella bacteria. Seven residents have been hospitalized. The infected people suffer from diarrhea and fever, among other things. The bacteria has also appeared on the other boat, the Virginia. The GGD is investigating the source of the infection.
