The Coni Guarantee Board rejected the appeal of the Venetians who asked for a 3-0 at the table for the match not played on January 6. The calendar realigns
On May 5, with the match between Salernitana and Venice, the championship will finally return to realign itself after months of postponements for Covid and pending matches. The Sports Guarantee Board at Coni has in fact rejected Venice’s appeal against the Federcalcio and Salernitana, confirming the first and second degree sentence that had decided that the match should be played. The Venetian club instead asked for a 3-0 at the table.
The challenge
–
The match should have been played on January 6, but Salernitana had not been able to take the field due to the many cases of coronavirus: the grenade team, blocked by the ASL, found itself with just seven players available (including three goalkeepers ). However, Venezia had arrived in Salerno, limiting themselves to training at Arechi. Thus, four months later, we find ourselves playing a match in which three very precious salvation points are played.
