Change negotiations with Liiga-SaiPa oy., the background company of ice hockey championship league team SaiPa, have ended.
The club tells in its announcement terminating five employment relationships, three of which are full-time and two part-time.
In addition, the club will lay off maintenance and sales employees for 210 days.
According to SaiPa’s financial statements for the 2022–23 season, the club had an average of 79 employees last season.
SaiPa will close its store located in the Isokristiina shopping center. According to the company, the store has been unprofitable and will close at the end of February.
SaiPa is also reorganizing the tasks of sales and the tasks of those working in the lunch restaurant Lalli.
The change negotiations did not concern players or coaches.
