Striker Jonne Tammela is moving to SaiPa. The club will inform about it on their website.
The 25-year-old Tammela’s contract covers the coming season.
Tammela is the SM league champion from Luko in spring 2021. He played for TPS the previous two seasons, and earlier in his career he also represented KalPa.
Ylivieskalainen has scored three more than 10 goals in the SM league. The career record points 17+13=30 were created in the 2019–20 season in Luko.
At the end of the season, the power points remained quite low at 9+13=22.

He is strong on the puck and brings the right kind of edge to the team’s game, experience in hard games and winning, SaiPa head coach Ville Hämäläinen describes the new acquisition in the club’s press release.
Tammela is the Tampa Bay Lightning’s fourth-round pick from summer 2015. He spent two seasons in the AHL in North America, but missed his NHL debut.
