Sad till? Rammstein fans build up with a video in which Lindemann should show feelings

Several Rammstein pages are currently sharing a short live clip, apparently recorded in Munich, in which Till Lindemann is said to be extremely emotional by his standards. In it, the 60-year-old sings lines from “I want”: “… We want you to trust us / We want you to believe everything we say / We want to see your hands.” Lindemann’s voice falters after “vertraut” and he takes a short break, apparently not being able to continue with the low vocal range at first.

Perhaps Lindemann is trying to convey a message to his followers with such interludes: They should trust the band and not give up on it. In the course of the allegations of abuse against the front man, which have now been researched or taken up by many media, he can of course make good use of this support. “The thunderstorm,” he said after the first evening in Munich, “will pass, and so will everything else.” Drummer Christoph Schneider reacted emotionally, too, and could hardly hold back his tears on stage. But there are also many users who comment on such videos differently – and insinuate that the musicians are emotionally affected by acting.
