FC Bayern has responded to its personnel concerns and has brought in a new defender for the outside. The Frenchman is no stranger.
After unsuccessfully wooing Kieran Trippier from Newcastle United, FC Bayern has now apparently signed right-back Sacha Boey from Galatasaray Istanbul. The TV broadcaster Sky and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported this unanimously. The defender should therefore sign a long-term contract until 2029.
Boey is still known to Bayern from the Champions League. With Galatasaray he lost twice in the group stage against the current Bundesliga runners-up. According to reports, Boey will arrive in Munich on Saturday.
Galatasaray and Bayern are said to have reached an agreement on Friday. According to Sky, Boey costs the German record champions 28 to 29 million euros. The medical check is still pending.
