S.Oliver sales manager Daniel Schmidt leaves the company

Daniel Schmidt, Director Wholesale, Franchise and Depot DACH for the brands S.Oliver and Comma, is leaving the Rottendorf fashion group.

The previous head of sales left the company by mutual consent on February 10, S.Oliver confirmed on Tuesday at the request of FashionUnited. The industry magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on the personnel.

At the S.Oliver Group, Schmidt was responsible for a new showroom concept for the group of companies and implemented this at the Düsseldorf, Sindelfingen and Salzburg locations, according to Rotterdorf. The company also credits Schmidt with the further development of a digital order platform for S.Oliver’s trading partners. His successor is not officially known at this time.

Prior to his time in Rottendorf, Schmidt worked for Hugo Boss for eight years, where he was most recently responsible for the DACH region in the wholesale department before taking up the position of wholesale director at the suit manufacturer Digel. In October 2020 he switched to S.Oliver and reported directly to the then Managing Director Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, who left the company in December.
