The S.Oliver Group provides an initial reception facility for Ukrainian refugees at the company headquarters in Rottendorf in cooperation with the district office of Würzburg and local aid organizations and offers accommodation for up to 75 refugees. The S.Oliver Health Center is available for medical care, and the company restaurant takes care of breakfast and lunch. There is also comprehensive WiFi. An expansion of capacity and preparations for another building are already underway, the company said in a press release.
The help does not only come from the company, the employees are also involved and make an active contribution: They donate hygiene packages for the refugees in order to provide them with the essentials at the beginning, or help with the translation with their language skills.
In addition, S.Oliver supports aid transports for children in the Ukraine and provides 5,000 pieces of children’s clothing. The aid transport is organized by the Deutsche Kindertafel eV based in Schweinfurt and with the support of several companies from the region. We are pleased that we have found a way to help quickly and pragmatically together with our employees.”
The company is still in close contact with the district office in order to support the other facilities in the region with clothing. There is also close contact with the managing director in Russia and the production partners in the Ukraine.
