The Rottendorf-based clothing group S.Oliver Group announced the appointment of Isabelle Desiree Mi-A Ko as Senior Head of Product & Design Comma & Comma ci on Monday. She took over the post on February 1 and is now reporting to Francisco Droege, Comma’s Global Business Director, the company said.
Mi-A Ko joined the company on July 1 last year and was responsible for the design of the Comma ci line until her promotion. “Within a very short time, she was able to decisively advance the line and get her team behind her,” said the S.Oliver Group in a statement. “In her new responsibility, with her creativity and at the same time very strategic approach, she has already provided important impetus for the stringent further development of both lines, which also ensures harmony on the shop floor with the necessary selectivity.”
Mi-A Ko has already gained experience at Calvin Klein, Marc O’Polo and Hugo Boss
The chief designer brings “an extensive wealth of experience from the stations of her previous career to the further development of the Comma brand, especially with regard to international markets and brand management,” the company explained. Before moving to the S.Oliver Group, she worked as Senior Director Merchandising and Design for Calvin Klein Womenswear. Before that, she held various management positions at Marc O’Polo AG and the Metzingen-based fashion group Hugo Boss AG.
“We thank Ms. Mi-A Ko for her great commitment and look forward to further cooperation,” said Comma boss Droege in a statement. “She knows how to inspire her team with her passion and will continue to develop our brand with her extensive experience in all areas of the fashion industry and in close cooperation with the entire Comma team.”
