The Rottendorf-based clothing group S.Oliver Group plans to cut numerous jobs as part of its ongoing reforms. It was necessary to “cut around 100 jobs,” the company explained at the request of FashionUnited, thereby confirming a corresponding report from the trade magazine Textilwirtschaft (TW).
The measures are intended to “further digitally and vertically optimize structures and processes throughout the entire value chain” of the group of companies, explained the clothing provider. As a result, “some areas in the administration are being reduced” or “are eliminated”.
The resulting job cuts would be “socially acceptable and in coordination with the works council,” explained the company, which says it currently employs 5,100 people.
