Ryanair cancels flights to and from Eindhoven Airport

Once again, people who want to fly to or from Eindhoven Airport are being duped. After Transavia, Ryanair has also decided to cancel flights. It concerns six flights that were scheduled for Sunday and Monday between Eindhoven and Reus, Marseille and Ibiza.

The reason has not been made known, not even to the management of the Eindhoven airport. “Ryanair simply informed us without giving any reasons,” said a spokesman for Eindhoven Airport.

“Airlines can make such a decision and they are not obliged to explain why they have done this. It is especially annoying for people who had booked a flight,” he adds.

Transavia already had to cancel at least fifteen flights last week. Some are also canceled on Sunday. Travelers from or to Copenhagen, Seville, Barcelona, Faro, Athens, Lisbon and Alicante are particularly affected by this.

Transavia will come up with a bigger plan in the course of next week, in which several flights for May and June will be cancelled. This concerns flights from Eindhoven Airport, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
