‘Be less dependent on Moscow as soon as possible’
ROME – Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi has not yet succeeded in persuading our Prime Minister Mark Rutte to set a ceiling for the gas price. Draghi is happy with the fact that Rutte has assured him that it is not a matter of principle for him and that he is open to a discussion about this. “That is already a big step, much more than what he had done until now,” said the satisfied Italian prime minister during a joint press conference in Rome, where Rutte visited his Italian counterpart on Thursday.
