Russian peacekeepers start protecting facilities in Kazakhstan – RBK

Russian peacekeepers have begun to fulfill the assigned tasks to protect vital facilities, reported in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Subdivisions from the Russian peacekeeping contingent, which had previously arrived in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, began to fulfill the assigned tasks to protect vital facilities, airfields, key social infrastructure facilities,” the ministry said.

The transfer of units of the Russian contingent of the CSTO peacekeeping forces to Kazakhstan continues.
